Each tablet contains 5 mg of allylestrenol.
Allylestrenol is an orally active progestogen. Allylestrenol has a pregnancy-supporting effect without causing additional hormonal effects. It has been established in vitro that Alestor stimulates placental progesterone synthesis and increases the secretion of placental hormones, including human chorionic gonadotropin, placental lactogen, estrogen, and progesterone, as well as oxytocinase in patients at risk of pregnancy loss.
Clinical studies have demonstrated that Alestor is effective and safe for supporting pregnancy.

- Intrauterine growth restriction
- Threatened abortion
- Recurrent abortion
- Threatened preterm birth
- Failure of nidation (implantation of the fertilized egg)
