Prednisolone Acetate and Neomycin Sulfate
Each ml contains Prednisolone Acetate USP 5 mg, Neomycin Sulfate BP equivalent to Neomycin base 3.5 mg & Polymyxin B Sulfate BP 10000 IU.
Prednisolone is a corticosteroid that suppresses the inflammation. On the other hand neomycin sulfate and polymyxin B sulfate are active against a broad spectrum of microorganisms such as Staphylococcus aureus, Escherichia coli, Hemophilus influenza, Klebsiella, Enterobacter, Neisseria and Pseudomonas aeruginosa. Combination of these three drugs is highly effective in the treatment of inflammation associated with ocular infection.
